Inspirational Bible Verses: "For Who is God, but the Lord?"

Among those encouraging and inspirational Bible verses for those seeking empowerment from the Lord to get done the task at hand, though it may be an ugly one...

For who is God, but the LORD? And who is a rock, except our God?—
the God who equipped me with strength and made my way blameless. He made my feet like the feet of a deer and set me secure on lhe heights.
He trains my hands for war,
so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.
You have given me the shield of your salvation,
and your right hand supported me,
and your gentleness made me great.
You gave a wide place for my steps under me,
and my feet did not slip. Psalm 18:31-36

For who is God, but the LORD? And who is a rock, except our God?—

The central affirmation of both the Jewish and Christian faith is that there is one God, Him alone (Deuteronomy 6:4) Since there is one God, there is one true source of dependability and strength.

the God who equipped me with strength and made my way blameless. He made my feet like the feet of a deer and set me secure on lhe heights.

This God does indeed supply us with strength and sets our paths right. Using the image of a deer gracefully scaling craggy rocks, we are told that He can make our way over difficult life terrain stable.

He trains my hands for war,
so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.

A verse used by many Chrisitan fighters, right or wrong I'll leave that one for you to decide. Whatever the case, God is the one who trains and enables us to fight life's battles.

You have given me the shield of your salvation,
and your right hand supported me,
and your gentleness made me great.
You gave a wide place for my steps under me,
and my feet did not slip.

An interesting thought that God's gentleness is what makes us great. Every warrior of life needs that tender, undergirding strength that can be God's grace. Perhaps among the more encouraging Bible verses?
