Encouraging Bible Verses: You Will Have Peace

Commentary on this Encouraging Bible Verse
Jesus quoted this verse in the sermon on the mount. "Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth."
This whole Psalm proclaims that it is those who provide for others who will themselves be provided for.
God delights to give to those who will give to others. Because they give to others, He gives to them again. The cycle continues, infinitely, and, in greater intensity, so that the ultimate givers will be the ultimate inheritors--the earth.
Peace, as we have written about in other encouraging Bible verses, is not merely the absence of conflict, but the presence of health and wholeness, integration and life. Perhaps the greatest gift of all. You will have peace.
