Encouraging Bible Verses: You Will Have Answer to Prayer

This encouraging Bible verse gives us the assurance that even when we don't feel like God hears us, God knows and sees all our distress and the outpouring of our hearts.

"But I call to God, and the LORD will save me. Evening and morning and at noon I utter my complaint and moan, and he hears my voice." (Psalms 55.16-17)

Commentary on this Encouraging Bible Verse

God always hears you in your distress.

So why the seeming silence?

We can draw a lesson from Jesus' delay in going to heal Lazarus. In the gospel of John account (chapter 11 has these encouraging Bible verses), Lazarus was sick and ailing. But Jesus deliberately delayed in going to see Him.

The result-- Lazarus died. Jesus' followers even pointed out that fact if Jesus had come sooner, he could've healed Lazarus before He died, and all hope was lost.

Or so it seemed.

Jesus waited so that something even greater than healing could be revealed: That He could raise from the dead.

Sometimes, when Jesus is waiting in your life, and it seems there is only silence, the real reason could very well be that He is waiting to reveal something even more stunning and new about Himself to you.

Often we believe that there is no answer to prayer because we have broken fellowship with God. And that may not be the case.

Keep listening. Keep watching. Jesus' answer could be just over the horizon, and it could be an answer that is totally out-of-the-box new movement of His in your life. You will have answer to prayer!
