Encouraging Bible Verses: You Shall Be Blessed

From our encouraging Bible verses, this scripture shows us the way to God's blessing.

"Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man against whom the LORD counts no iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit."
(Psalms 32.1-2)

Commentary on this Encouraging Bible Verse

One fine preacher said that the blessing of the Lord is a curse without the Lord in it.

To be reconciled to God, to have His presence in your life is the only thing that will bring the true blessing of God.

There is a lightness and freedeom to integrity before God and man. Confession of sin before both is key. It brings it into light, cleanses and makes pure.

In classic Hebrew parallelisim, this encouraging Bible verse begins "transgression is forgiven/sin is covered." When the Lord no longer counts iniquity because of the sacrifice of Messiah, when we no longer lie to ourselves or to God or to others, this blessing of God falls down upon us.

What do you need to make right today before God?

Before man?

Before yourself?

You shall be Blessed!
