This encouraging Bible verse addresses the issue: Should we fear God or fear man?
"in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can man do to me?"
(Psalms 56.11)
Commentary on this Encouraging Bible Verse
Walking with Jesus yields freedom from men.
Part of the good news is that you don't have to be controlled by what other people will think or do. You don't have to put on a mask, be somone else, talk for the sake of someone else, or perform for someone else's approval.
In Jesus, we have the freedom to put on His yoke, and live for an audience of one.
Why do you say/act/think like you do? Is it out of a pure desire for God's will, or is it to please men?
I think you will find at the root of the matter, as I have, that there are many things we adjust in our lives out of fear of mankind.
This is not the rich life Jesus intended for us. Ask Him to lead you out of this kind of life today. You need not be afraid!
