Bible Wallpapers Volume One

bible wallpapers Among all my Bible wallpapers, this one is a real beauty and the one I currently keep on my laptop above all the other free Christian wallpapers. After some snow melt, the temperature warmed up enough for the moisture to begin evaporating into a thick fog where the snow remained. This is actually the view from the west edge of the tiny little villiage I live in. The verse reads "But to this one I will look, to him who is humble and contrite of spirit, and who trembles at my Word." Isaiah 66:2. Click on the pic to download the full size version. Enjoy this among my other free Christian wallpapers.

bible verse wallpapers While driving around after an ice storm, the sun broke out and the color contrast of the green winter field, the brown trees with shimmering ice, and blue sky created a show stopper. The verse reads "The Lord is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation" (Psalm 118:14) I like the lettering style on this, it looks three dimensional in the sense that it looks like it was actually raised into the picture. bible wallpapers I have my wife to thank for helping me keep my eyes open to not just collections of fall leaves, but the beauty of individual ones too. I like the stunning contrast of the leaf with burning colors against the worn decking. Frosty letters (for the impending weather?) have the verse that reads "Sing to the Lord, bless His Name, proclaim good tidings of His salvation from day to day" Psalm 96:2. bible verse wallpapers At a pastors retreat, we got to take a ride on the St. Joseph river in Michigan. A nice ending to the day--and made a decent contribution to the Bible wallpapers collection here. The verse reads "They who dwell in the ends of the earth stand in awe of your signs; You make the dawn and the sunset shout for joy" (Psalm 65:8) Open a new window with the full size version by clicking on the picture.

bible wallpapers We were coming home from church one evening and this storm was rolling in that just saturated the sky with ominous blue. Fearful, majestic. The verse reads "O Lord my God, You are very great, You are clothed with splendor and majesty, He makes the clouds His chariot, He walks upon the wings of the wind." (Psalm 104:1-3) Click on the picture to open a new window with the full size version.
